PM takes up salaries, pensions issue of Punjab govt employees with Naqvi
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday telephoned Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi and discussed with him bringing salaries and pensions of the Punjab government employees at par with the federal government employees.
The chief minister assured the prime minister that he would again raise the issue at the provincial cabinet meeting.
Punjab government raised only 5 percent pension of the retired government employees.
