PM urged to form best team for economic turnaround

Lahore: Chairman Punjab Dyes and Chemicals Merchants Association and former Senior Vice President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, while welcoming the formation of the new national government, urged Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to immediately form a good economic team and immediately start working on overcoming the economic issues.

He said that the improvement in the stock market and the fall in the value of the dollar as soon as Shahbaz Sharif becomes the Prime Minister is a clear indication that the investors have full confidence in his leadership. To meet this, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif needs a good economic team.

Khawaja Khawar Rashid said that load shedding is on the rise again. The rupee is volatile against the dollar. Exports are not satisfactory. Electricity, gas and petrol prices are at a high level due to which the business community is facing many difficulties. He said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif would have to work on war footing to rid the country of these major challenges. He said that Shahbaz Sharif has vast experience of working as the Chief Minister of Punjab. Therefore, it can be expected that he will be able to overcome all the difficulties as the Prime Minister.
