PML-F Rally Against Blasphemous Caricatures

HYDERABAD, Nov 01 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) on Sunday staged protest rally against publication of blasphemous caricatures of the last prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) in France.

A large number of workers of PML-F district Hyderabad chapter participated the rally which marched towards Hyderabad Press club from Sindh University’s old campus and strongly condemned the publication of blasphemous caricatures and French president Emmanuel Macron’s anti Islam comments.

Addressing the rally functional league leaders Advocate Zafarullah Arain, Rafiq Magsi, Bhagchand Bheel and others demanded of the government to take legal action against French interests in Pakistan including its companies and products. No one, in the entire world, has right to speak, write or draw sketches against Holy prophet Muhammad (PBUH), they said. They also demanded for cutting off diplomatic relations with France and expelling French diplomats from the country.

PML (Functional) leaders also called for a boycott of all French products until president Macron tendered a formal apology from Muslims of the world. The participants of the rally also set French flag and the effigy of French president Emmanuel Macron on fire and chanted slogans against responsible persons. They also demanded of international community and Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) to take notice of French government for supporting blasphemous activities which had spread hatred in the Muslim world.
