Police arrest slain model Nayab Nadeem’s murderer

Lahore, 16th August: Police have arrested the alleged murderer of Lahore-based model Nayab Nadeem who was strangled to death in her residence last month.

According to details, Lahore police arrested slain model Nayab’s stepbrother Aslam on Monday for murdering her in the name of honor.

DIG Police Shariq Jamal told media today that Aslam, the stepbrother of model Nayab, murdered her because he didn’t like his sister’s modeling profession.

Police make further development in model Nayab’s murder case

Police officials also said that the accused was also eyeing the model’s posh house in Lahore’s Defence area.

DIG disclosed that the accused Aslam first intoxicated his step-sister and then strangled her to death. He added that the police have recovered a weapon, a headcover, a bottle of sedative drug and a knife from the crime spot.

Earlier, the police had proven that Nayab’s stepbrother was behind her murder. They said that he strangulated her and tried to create an impression that she was sexually assaulted and then murdered.

The police claimed that they were able to arrest Nayab’s stepbrother after they found evidence from the crime scene. They matched the murderer’s fingerprints found on door handles of the house to that of Aslam’s.

Suspect Arrested In Lahore’s Model Nayab Murder Case

As per reports from Baaghi TV, police further disclosed that the suspect killed Nayab after a quarrel between the two and strangled her throat. The suspect stripped the victim off her clothes intentionally so that the police may think it was a rape-murder crime.

It is to be recalled that on July 10, a 29-year-old model named Nayab Nadeem was strangled to death by unknown suspects at her house in DHA Phase-V.

Police filed a case on the complaint of her stepbrother Mohammad Ali, who stated that he had found her body lying on the floor when he came to visit her.
