Lahore: Police Chowki Sua Asal is doing exactly against the IG Punjab Police’s mission to transform Punjab Police from a force to a helping service, and to make it easier for the citizens to access the police’, Baaghi TV has learnt.
Residents of the area said that they have been facing intense hardships in approaching the Chowki Incharge who always remains busy in eating or going to wash room but not listening to the grievances.
They said that the Incharge Room is always chilled with hidden AC, which is directly connected with the main transmission lines.
In the first place the The Chowki Incharge does not entertain the compliments and someone succeeds in meeting him he misbehaves, using harsh language, they said.
A resident of Myla Ram, on the condition of not disclosing his name, said that he went to seek help of the police in some family related issues but he could not meet the Chowki Incharge, Shahid Rasheed, due to his unavailability despite repeated visits to the Chowki
The residents said that incidents of burglary, dacoties and thefts are on the rise while drug runners and landgrabbers are free to operate.
On the other hand, nearby hotel owners and shopkeepers complained that the police that the police is habitual of taking away free breakfast, lunch, dinners and other household utilities.
The residents have urged the IG Punjab and authorities concerned to take notice of the rising crime and falling standards of the police service in the area.
