Lahore, 15th August: It has now emerged that model Nayab Nadeem who was murdered in her Lahore residence in July was killed by her stepbrother in the name of ‘honor’.
According to details, police have arrested slain model Nayab Nadeem’s stepbrother who has been alleged to killing her for the honor.
According to reports from Geo News, police have confirmed that the suspect has finally confessed to killing his stepsister. Police added that evidence collected from the crime scene confirms his involvement in the murder.
Police make further development in model Nayab’s murder case
Nayab, 29, was found murdered at her Defence B residence on July 11. The model, who lived alone, had been strangled to death after being tortured, police had said.
Sources from the police also informed that the fingerprints from the door of Nayab’s residence matched with those of her stepbrother’s which indicated that he was the only one who had visited her at the residence that day.

It is pertinent to mention here that Nayab’s stepbrother was the first one who had found her body and reported the incident to the police.
Suspect Arrested In Lahore’s Model Nayab Murder Case
Police further disclosed that the suspect killed Nayab after a quarrel between the two and strangled her throat. The suspect stripped the victim off her clothes intentionally so that the police may think it was a rape-murder crime.
According to a previous investigation in the case, police had said that the murderer had taken Nayab’s mobile phone with him and escaped from the back door of the house.
Police make headway during investigations into the murder of model Nayab
Following the initial probe, police had included the slain model’s close friends in the investigation after scrutinizing her phone data.
Police also revealed that the model had returned to Lahore from Dubai recently. A post-mortem was conducted on her after which the body was handed back to her relatives.
