Police search operations continue at various places in Lahore

Search operations aimed at cracking down on anti-social elements and arresting illegal residents, says Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Zulfiqar Hameed.

Lahore Search operations are being carried out regularly across the city on the instructions of CCPO Lahore Zulfiqar Hameed in view of security.

According to a police spokesperson, search operations are underway in many areas of the city including Sundar Industrial Estate, Central Flats Model Town Extension, Bhasin village and various places. Search operations were also conducted in several areas of Nawab Town, Stokatla and Nishtar Colony police stations and areas. Moreover, tenants and several hotels were also checked.

The Lahore police chief said that the search operations would crack down on anti-social elements and bring illegal residents under the control of law and order.

Lahore CCPO Zulfiqar Hameed directed the officers to ensure continuous patrolling by additional teams of Dolphin and Police Response Units. He said that citizens should immediately report any suspicious person and suspicious activity to 15.
