Police termed Activist Karima Baloch’s death as ‘Non-Criminal’
Lahore, 22nd December: Renowned activist and former chairperson of Baloch Students Organisation-Azad, Karima Baloch, has been found dead in Toronto, Canada.
Earlier, Baaghi TV reported that the body of Karima Baloch, former chairperson of the Baloch Students’ Organization, has been recovered from Toronto, Canada on Tuesday. She had gone missing on Sunday.
According to recent reports from the Dawn News which quoted the unnamed sources in the Indian media said some unverified reports had said that Baloch had been killed.
But a spokesperson for the Toronto Police told Dawn.com that authorities were investigating the death as “non-criminal”.
“On Monday, December 21, 2020, a 37-year-old woman was located deceased. It is currently being investigated as a non-criminal death and there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances,” Caroline de Kloet, Toronto Police’s media relations officer said in an email response.

However, on Dec 21st, the Toronto Police had reported on their official Twitter page about the missing of Karima Mehrab.
Today they tweeted to inform that she has been located.
