Sindh High Court issued a major order for the protection of female students returning home from educational institutions.
The court has directed the IG Sindh to ensure police patrolling during school, college, university hours.
In the Sindh High Court, a hearing was held on the issue of the dilapidated state of government schools, during which the court issued a written order.
The court sought a report from Secretary Colleges, Secretary School Education on the installation of biometric system and ordered that judicial magistrates be appointed to visit the schools.
The court in its remarks said that Sessions Judges should appoint women magistrates for girls’ schools and colleges and also ordered IG Sindh to ensure police patrolling during school, college and university hours.
