London, 25th September: Firing reported at a police station in the United Kingdom.
Baaghi TV: A police officer has been killed in a shooting at a police station in Britain, a suspect has been taken into custody.
The shooting happened at Croydon Police Station in south London. Metropolitan Police say a 23-year-old man in custody has also been arrested with injuries. No officer was shot in the incident.
Authorities say it was a tragic incident and an investigation has been launched. The police officer was rushed to hospital in a critical condition but succumbed to his injuries.
On the other hand, the arrested suspect has also been shifted to the hospital due to his injuries but his condition is also said to be critical. The accused is suspected of committing suicide after shooting a police officer.
It should be noted that Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced new laws to prevent lockdown at the national level during the coronavirus pandemic.
