Possible T20I Squad of Pakistan for Series Against Australia

LAHORE (20th Oct, 2019): Pakistan cricket team is all set to play T20I series against Australia.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is likely to announce 14 member squad in next couple of days. Sources of Baaghi TV have confirmed that Mohammad Rizwan has been appointed vice-captain of national team, while Babar Azam will be the captain of T20I side.

Moreover, Sources of Baaghi TV have also confirmed that PCB has decided to drop seniors players including Sarfraz Ahmad, Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez whereas Fast bolwer Mohammad Irfan will be returning to T20I side after 3 years.

Possible Pakistan squad: Babar Azam (captain), Mohammad Rizwan (vice-captain and wicket-keeper), Fakhar Zaman, Haris Sohail, Iftikhar Ahmad, Asif Ali, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Nawaz, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, Usman Shinwari and Mohammad Husnain.

On the other hand, Cricket Australia have already announced a 14 man squad for series against Pakistan.

Australia Squad: Aaron Finch (captain), Steve Smith, David Warner, Glenn Maxwell, Ashton Agar, Alex Carey, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Andrew Tye, Adam Zampa,  Ashton Turner, Ben McDermott, Kane Richardson, Billy Stanlake.

Reportedly, Pakistan will play three T20Is against Australia on November 3, 5 and 8 respectively.
