PPP Senators tender resignations following the failure of no-trust move

In a bid to register their protest, all 21 senators of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) have sent their resignation to the party chairman on Thursday.

According to the reports of Baaghitv, Pakistan Peoples Party senators have submitted their resignation to the party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari after the unexpected outcome of the no-trust move, which badly exposed the joint opposition unity in the senate.

All Pakistan Peoples Party senators, have submitted their resignations and the Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said, this is another series of rigging campaign continued since the general elections, 2018. Bilawal added, “My party is an idealogical party, one that has principles, and which has struggled for democracy. As a matter of principle, all 21 of my senators have submitted their resignations to me, as party chairman.”
