President Alvi addresses inaugural of Green Tractor Program

President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that modernization of agriculture and livestock sector is essential for the prosperity and development of the country.

Addressing the launch ceremony of ‘Green Tractor’ scheme in Quetta, he said that this scheme would benefit the farmers of the province. Under the Green Tractor Scheme, one thousand tractors will be provided to the farmers of Balochistan at discounted prices.

The President said that the present government has put the province and the country on a steady path of development. At the same time, he said that the biggest change in the current era is that policies are being formulated in consultation with the stakeholders, when policies are formulated through consultation, they are better and not focused on a few people.
