Christian Community to celebrate Christmas tomorrow

While congratulating the community, Mohsin Naqvi said: “I offer my heartfelt Christmas greeting to the Christian community”. He said that Jesus is important for us as much as he is for the Christian community. We are as happy as you are on the birthday of Hazrat Isa (P.B.U.H.). What we all have in common is that we worship one God. We also worship the same God that you worship. From the Holy Prophet to Quaid-e-Azam, from the beginning of Islam to the formation of Pakistan, we were told the rights of Christian brothers well.

When the rights of the Christian brothers are denied, it is a shame that we have forgotten the teachings of our Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.). Pakistan is incomplete without our Christian brothers. The green color in the Pakistani flag is for the Muslims while the white color is for the minority communities. He said that no matter how much the Jaranwala incident is condemned, it is too little. As a result of the Jaranwala incident, the affected churches and houses have been restored. Our feelings are with the victims.

He added that every possible effort is being made to severely punish the perpetrators of the Jardanwala incident or any such incident. Bishop Nadeem Kamran and Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad are working a lot for the unity of the country. Bishop Nadeem Kamran and Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad reach wherever there is a need. It is our duty, to provide security to our Christian brothers. The administration and police are active in providing foolproof security throughout Punjab. Christmas celebrations are being organized at the district level. We have to be united not only on a tragedy but for the whole year. He said that it is our religious and constitutional duty to protect minorities.
