February 9,2021: The meeting considered the political, social and economic situation of the country.
The situation of PDM movement and long march was considered. The meeting included a briefing on the status of corona virus in Pakistan. The federal cabinet considered a nine-point agenda. The summary of the new chairman OGRA was presented in the cabinet meeting for approval. A summary of the creation of 30 new accountability courts across the country was submitted for approval. The Ministry of Law presented a summary of the new courts on the orders of the Supreme Court.
The Chairman of the IT and Telecom Task Force briefed the cabinet. There was a breifing about vacancies for heads and CEOs of public sector entities. The Ministry of Communications briefed the cabinet on the Metro Bus project.
Appointment of Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation Administrator was on the Cabinet agenda as well. Mutual legal aid requests from non-treaty countries were discussed along with the confirmation of the February 2 decision of the Cabinet Committee on CPEC. Also on the agenda was the confirmation of ECC decisions.
