July 13, 2021: Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control (LOC) and around the world are observing Kashmir Martyrs’ Day today to pay tribute to the martyrs of July 13, 1931.
BaaghiTV: It should be noted that on July 13, 1931, the Dogra Maharaja’s army martyred 22 Kashmiri youths one after another outside the Srinagar Central Jail during a court proceedings against a youth named Abdul Qadir. Abdul Qadir had asked the Kashmiri people to unite against the Dogra rule.
On July 13, 1931, at the time of Zuhr prayers, a young man started giving the call to prayer that he had been martyred by the soldiers of Dogra Maharaja, but the call to prayer continued and 22 young men had sacrificed their lives till the call to prayer was completed.۔
On the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he stands with Kashmiris on Martyrs’ Day.

In a message issued on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that tributes were paid to the 22 martyrs of July 13, 1931. A new struggle has emerged from the Kashmiri fight against oppression.
This indomitable spirit of resistance remains alive as Kashmiri men & women continue to fight illegal Indian Occupation. Pakistan stands with the Kashmiris in their just struggle & will not compromise till they get their right to self determination guaranteed by UNSC resolutions.

The Prime Minister said that Kashmiri men and women are continuing their struggle against illegal Indian occupation. Pakistan stands by their just struggle with Kashmiris. The struggle will continue till independence Resolutions do not guarantee their right to self-determination and will not compromise. The Prime Minister of Pakistan said that the spirit of resistance of Kashmiris against Indian oppression and barbarism is still alive today. Occupied Kashmir has a history of Indian occupation, oppression and human rights violations.
