PM decides to hold debate on Sialkot case in NA, Senate

The Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan has decided to convene a joint sitting of the parliament on Monday, November 8.

According to sources, the decision to convene a joint sitting of Parliament was taken at a meeting of allies chaired by Imran Khan. Sources also stated that the joint meeting would approve the electoral reforms and pass a bill on the use of electronic voting machines.

The agreement on the banned organization was taken into confidence in a consultative meeting chaired by the Prime Minister and the coalition parties agreed to take a common stand on important national issues. It is also learned that PM Khan has decided to take the nation into confidence over the political situation and inflation in the country.

According to details, the Prime Minister will address the nation on Wednesday on the current situation and take the nation into confidence, while also talking about the inflation situation.

Earlier, a meeting of the Federal Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of the PM. The meeting discussed the agreement reached with the banned Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) and other important issues. The federal cabinet approved several agenda items.

According to sources, the issue of notice of Election Commission to Azam Swati and Fawad Chaudhry was also discussed during the cabinet meeting.

On the occasion, Imran Khan directed the two ministers to appear before the Election Commission along with Azam Swati and Fawad Chaudhry.

According to sources, while discussing other important issues, the Prime Minister said that it is not easy to bring reforms, difficulties come, we will face them together.
