Private aircraft crashes near airport in US’s North Carolina

A private plane crashed near Pitt-Greenville Airport in North Carolina on Friday morning. The aircraft, identified as a Beechcraft Bonanza, had two people on board, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). It remains unclear whether they sustained any injuries. In a social media post on X, the Greenville Police Department stated that officers are providing scene control near the intersection of North Memorial Dr and Belvoir Road. North Memorial Drive is expected to be closed for the rest of the day.
