Protests in Islamabad march towards French Embassy

Islamabad, 30th October: Protests in Islamabad have erupted with the protesters moving towards the French embassy.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, protestors have taken the route towards the French Embassy in Islamabad when the police started shelling at the people who took out a rally against the caricatures in France.

It has been learnt that the police tried to divert the rally and requested the people to carry out a peaceful protest but they didn’t adhere to, after which the police had to start shelling at them.

According to sources, the police then fired tear gas shells to keep the protesters away from the embassy and when they felt that the protests would not stop, they started firing in the air.

According to sources, tensions are high in the area at the moment and the police have issued a warning and instructed the protesters to stay away from the French embassy.

It may be remembered that Muslims all over the world are protesting against the French President and his statement against Islam.
