Lahore, 29th January: People in New York and Washington have announced to protest in the support of Indian farmers.

Farmers have been protesting for more than two months to fight for their rights in India.

According to reports, farmers across the country are protesting against the Modi government’s alleged tyranny and agrarian laws.

On January 26, on the occasion of Republic Day, the farmers protested with all their might. Indian farmers have the support of farmers around the world, especially Sikhs.

Dozens of protesters from the United States and neighbouring states rallied outside the Indian embassies in New York and Washington, D.C., on the occasion of India’s Republic Day on January 26, demanding that farmers in India Should not be harmed.

Many in the crowd held yellow ‘pure’ flags, chanting anti-India and anti-Modi slogans. At the same time, the agricultural laws passed against the farmers should be withdrawn soon.

Hundreds of people are reported to have gathered in front of the Indian embassy to protest against the new Indian agricultural laws, chanting slogans against the new agricultural laws.

It should be noted that the Narendra Modi government had in September passed new laws as part of a broader effort to revise the country’s agricultural laws on a large scale.

Narendra Singh, a well-known protester in Washington, called the laws a “violation of human rights and democracy by India.

He said, “Every year we celebrate Black Day on January 26, but this year we stand in solidarity with the farmers in India.”

He added, “our protests are not just for Sikhs but for people from all over the country. Protesters from all religions and faiths are with us.”

“We don’t believe in violence. If the Indian government wants violence, Sikhs will also become violent,” said Adham Singh, a Washington DC resident.

It may also be recalled that a month ago, a statue of Mahatma Gandhi was seen wrapped around a Khalistani flag near the Indian Embassy in Washington DC, where the protesters were protesting in a similar manner. Security was tightened around the statue.
