PSL 6 in doldrums: Next few hours crucial for the franchises

Lahore, 27th May: The remaining matches of Pakistan Super League 6 (PSL) face uncertainty once again. Baaghi TV: The problem emerged when the chartered flights from South Africa and India faced issues getting permission for landing in Abu Dhabi. According to reports, Pakistan Cricket Board has called an emergency meeting of franchise owners to review the situation. The sources said that permission is awaited from Emirates Civil Aviation. At 2 pm today the PCB asked the flights to be delayed. Sources added that problems have arisen due to the UAE authorities not allowing flights to land in Abu Dhabi. Chartered flights from Mumbai and Johannesburg are not being given landing permission while flights from Karachi and Lahore were canceled at one o’clock today. Moreover, Pakistani cricketer Hammad Azam, who arrived at the airport from England for Dubai yesterday, was sent back. It is to be noted that a total of 34 matches were scheduled to be played for the PSL 6, out of which 14 matches were played in Pakistan in February this year.
