PTA to issue License for 5-G Service by November

Karachi (22nd July, 2019): Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to issue 5-G licenses in November of this year.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is considering issuance of 5-G licenses in November, 2019. Reportedly, PTA has placed an advertisement to introduce this service via newspapers along with displaying the procedure on their website.
According to Baaghi TV’s sources, PTA has released statistics that about 4 million people are using 3-G and 4-G services, respectively. With hype of 5-G taking over the global market, several companies fro the telecom sector have shown interest in gaining licenses for 5-G. With the introduction of 5-G, even social media will predominantly undergo important changes.
Many problems faced by users of the 3-G and 4-G services will not be an issue for 5-G users, as there will be no delays in connectivity and sharing of messages between multiple devices, claim sources, due to which social media will get a new dimension.
