Lahore: The Coronavirus, which spread from China’s Wuhan region to the rest of the world, has caused lockdowns in most parts of the world, including Pakistan, and people social distancing within the confines of their homes are relying on their internet connection(s) to get education, entertainment and information.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, PTCL Internet users are suffer a different kind of torment apart from combating COVID-19 while at home.

The company, which claims to have given Rs 1.9 billion in the name of Corona Relief and Support Package, has completely ignored the affected customers who are suffering from severe mental duress due to a lack of proper connectivity problems.

As soon as the lockdown took place in Pakistan, PTCL started receiving complaints from internet users about the slow internet and service suspension and sadly, instead of taking any action against them, the company approached the customers, by indulging in fraudulent activities against them.

It has been revealed that consumer complaints are resolved without fixing their internet service. This is being done by tagging the official page of PTCL on social media.

According to reports, the landline and internet services have been affected in urban cities within Pakistan across Balochistan, Sindh, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
