According to Baaghi TV reports: Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation held a board meeting on the 17th of June, discussing the current situation of the pandemic. Along with all the sectors, PTDC themselves had to bare irreparable and continuous financial losses because of COVID19. In the meeting the federal Government and the BOD board of directors resolved to close down operations of the company.
Under the current situation of the the pandemic PTDC came to the following solutions
- Consequent upon closure of operations of the company, The board decided to decided to terminate/ dispense with the services of the employees, officers/ workmen, on an immediate effect.
- The employees are directed to have their dues cleared from the management and also to submit a clearance certificate to the office which so that the admissible legal dues could be achieved.
The circular was circulated amongst all employees of the company and is posted on the official website and offices of PTDC.
