Lahore, 7th March: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has invited applications for a National Assembly seat (NA-249) vacated by Federal Minister for Water and Resources Faisal Vawda. Baaghi TV: According to reports, PTI has called for the new applicants for NA-249 after Faisal Vawda submitted his resignation, hours before winning a Senate seat from Sindh province. PTI Karachi chief Khurrum Sher Zaman made the announcement that they have invited applications from the candidates on NA-249 after Faisal Vawda submitted his resignation. He said, “A parliamentary board of the party will make a final decision after the applications are received. We will once again win this seat with a majority.” According to reports, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has also invited applications from the candidates seeking a party ticket to contest NA-249 by-elections. It is being said that applications can be sent to Bilawal House, Karachi or Party office in Islamabad with the required formalities within a week.
