The event was organized by Pakistani American Dr. Asif Mahmood and co-sponsored by Democrat congressmen Brad Sherman and Jim Costa.

During the event, which saw a significant presence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters, the YouTuber raised objections to the $3 billion received by Pakistan through the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program. He questioned the rationale behind the Biden administration’s decision to grant this financial assistance to Pakistan.
The individual affiliated with the political party also repeatedly criticized the US State Department’s alleged silence on human rights violations in Pakistan. He called on the US government to exert pressure on Pakistan, accusing the country of rights abuses within its borders.
The YouTuber made sure to extend gratitude to Dr. Asif Mahmood for organizing the event, raising concerns about the event’s impartiality and potential political bias.
