Lahore, 8th March: The ruling government PTI has taken a big step against PPP’s Yousaf Raza Gillani.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, PTI has filed another petition against former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani, the candidate for the post of Chairman Senate.

According to reports, the petition filed by PTI in the Election Commission of Pakistan states that Yousuf Raza Gillani is the candidate for the post of Chairman Senate.

The election of Chairman Senate is scheduled for March 12, however, the Election Commission has fixed the case on March 11.

PTI said that it would be appropriate to hear the case immediately without wasting time. For the first time, a candidate for the chairmanship of the Senate was found guilty of electoral corruption.

Farrukh Habib, Kanwal Shozab and Malika Bukhari have filed a petition for an immediate hearing.

Earlier, a petition was filed in the Election Commission through renowned lawyer Azhar Siddique.

In the petition filed in the Election Commission of Pakistan, Advocate Azhar Siddique took a stand that action should be taken against Maryam Nawaz and Ali Haider Gillani on the charge of fraud.

He also asked why modern technology was not used in elections despite clear instructions from the supreme court.

The petition further said that non-compliance with the orders of the Supreme Court is contempt of court. Ali Haider Gillani’s video and Maryam Nawaz’s statement is evidence of fraud.

The petition further said that rigging in the elections is a felony and should be investigated. It is requested that notification of the success of Yousuf Raza Gillani as a senator should not be issued.
