PUC condemns Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia

The Houthi attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) were successfully repulsed by the Saudi air defense forces. Pakistan has strongly condemned the attack and demanded an immediate end to the attacks given that they are a direct violation of international law. A spokesperson for the Pakistan Foreign Office said, “We strongly condemn drone and missile attacks in Saudi Arabia”.

According to Baaghi TV reports, reiterating its support for KSA, Pakistan has claimed that the attacks are a threat to peace in the region. On the other hand, the All Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) has also condemned the attacks. The continued attacks on Saudi Arabia (KSA) by the Houthi rebels are reprehensible and regrettable, claimed the PUC.

Attempts are being made to target civilians on the one hand and oil installations on the other. Which is also against the international principles of world war and is not acceptable in any way. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is sacred to every Muslim who cannot tolerate any conspiracy against the security and stability of the Holy Land.

The UN, the OIC, and the international community must take immediate notice of the growing attacks by Houthi rebels and play their full role in stopping these attacks. Scholars and leaders from around the world, including Pakistan, strongly condemn the attacks on the Holy Land. In this regard, we assure full cooperation to the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz, his Crown Prince, Emir Muhammad bin Salman, and the people of Saudi Arabia.
