Puma engages Pakistani Asif Ali as brand ambassador

Dec 16, 2021: Puma has engaged Pakistani Asif Ali as a brand ambassador.

Asif is the first cricketer from Pakistan to be signed by the world’s third largest sportswear firm in terms of  production. Puma already supports a number of cricketers from around the world, including Virat Kohli, India’s Test captain, Rashid Khan, Afghanistan’s spinner, and former New Zealand captain, Brendon McCullum.

Asif is the most recent Pakistani athlete to sign a large sponsorship contract with a global corporation. Gray-Nicolls, a cricket equipment manufacturer, had already signed Pakistan captain Babar Azam and wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan.
