Lahore, 9th May: Punjab Government has issued a notification to extend the lockdown in Punjab till May 31.

According to reports to Baaghi TV, the construction sector, export industry, retailer shops, barber, and beauty salons will be open 4 days a week with precautionary measures.

The shops will open from 8 am to 5 pm with strict precautionary measures from Monday to Thursday. Grocery, general and medical stores, fruit and vegetable, and grocery stores will open all week from 9 am to 5 pm.

Petrol pumps, drive-in hotels, and other takeaway services will be open 24 hours a day. Large shopping malls, educational institutions, hotels, restaurants, marquees, and public transport will remain closed.

Instructions were also issued to the Department of Transport to prepare SOPs for inter-provincial transport to start.

Orders were issued to open closed markets in Punjab due to lockdown. Markets will be open 4 days a week, i.e Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The markets will remain closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
