Lahore, 2nd May: Punjab government has announced to conduct 6,000 tests of coronavirus daily. According to reports by Baaghi TV, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar has said that the province has no shortage of testing kits and will start 6,000 tests daily from tomorrow. Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Usman Bazdar said that there are 6,859 patients of Corona in Punjab out of which 115 have died and 2,206 patients have gone home after recovery while 90,000 people in the province are undergoing tests. The Punjab Chief Minister said that 8 corona test labs are operational in Punjab, level three labs are being set up at a cost of Rs. 60 crore, smart sampling has been started from 6 districts and 6,000 tests will be conducted daily from tomorrow.
