Punjab govt makes special announcement for police officials

Lahore: The government of Punjab has announced that Punjab Police employees will now get allowances along with their salaries.

According to details, the remaining 20% ​​of the daily fixed allowance will be given to the police personnel along with their salaries.

In this regard, Additional Inspector General (AIG) Finance has written a letter to the Accountant General (AG) Punjab asking him to link the arrears and the increased amount with salaries.

According to the notification, the increase in daily fixed allowance will take place from July 1, 2020. However, traffic and highway patrolling police staff will also be able to collect the increased amount.

It should be noted that 20% daily fixed allowance for 20 days was issued by the Finance Department.
