Punjab govt takes a big decision regarding cattle markets

According to the report of Baaghi TV, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Law Minister Muhammad Basharat Raja on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha regarding holding of cattle markets.
The meeting was attended by Livestock Minister Sardar Hasnain Bahadar Dreshak, Additional Chief Secretary, Additional IG Police, Secretary Local Government, Livestock and all Divisional Commissioners through video link.
Law Minister Raja Basharat said that recommendations would be sent to the federal government regarding setting up of cattle markets outside the cities.

Raja Basharat further said that medical camps would be set up in cattle markets and face masks and gloves would be mandatory for buyers and traders.
In Lahore, 12 points have been identified for cattle markets on Eid-ul-Adha, the points for cattle markets in Lahore may be more. The Punjab government has decided to set up cattle markets outside the city limits on Eid-ul-Adha.
