In a crackdown against power pilferage throughout province, Punjab Police arrested over thirty-seven thousand power pilferers, while registering more than fifty-five thousand cases.
According to the spokesman in Lahore, more than two thousand persons, accused of causing loss to national exchequer, were sentenced and fined.
