Punjab Police Introduces App For Tracking & Recovering Stolen Mobiles
LAHORE: The Punjab police department has introduced a new smartphone application to prevent the theft and sale of mobile phones and recover them if they get stolen or snatched. Punjab police issued smartphone software to aid in the prevention of mobile phone theft and sale, as well as the recovery of stolen devices. The e-Gadget Monitoring System was developed with help from the Punjab Information Technology Board. Users of both Apple and Android phones can download the software. The app will debut in Lahore and, if successful, will be expanded to other cities.
