Punjab University among top 1000 in the world in the ranking of international varsities

June 8, 2021: BaaghiTV: According to the report of private news agency Jang news, the QS, world ranking organization of universities, has also included Punjab University in its new ranking.

In the ranking released by QS, Punjab University has been included in the 1000 best universities of the world. Punjab University Vice Chancellor Dr. Niaz Ahmed said that in a short span of 3 years, the ranking of Punjab University has increased by 16%, in 2 years, the Asian ranking of Punjab University has improved by 39 degrees.

According to the report, the Vice Chancellor of Punjab University said that Punjab University was ranked number one in Pakistan in Natural Publishing Natural Sciences established in 1869. Due to good governance and promotion of research, the world ranking of Punjab University is improving every year.

Dr. Niaz Ahmed said that for the first time in the history of Punjab University, 13 subjects were counted in the world rankings. The Department of Petroleum Engineering of Punjab University is among the 150 best institutions in the world.
