Putin Modi Discussed the situation around Ukraine

Russian Prez Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with India’s PM Narendra Modi.

While discussing the situation around Ukraine, Putin outlined fundamental assessments of Kiev’s aggressive actions against civilian population of Donbass as well as its long-lasting destructive policy aimed at scrapping Minsk agreements.

Given this circumstances &also in connection with unacceptable for Russia the US’s&its NATO allies’ military developments on territory of Ukraine, decided to launch military operation.

Prime Minister of India thanked Vladimir Putin for the clarification and asked for assistance in ensuring the security of Indian citizens who currently stay in Ukraine. President of Russia said that the necessary instructions would be given.

Some issues of bilateral cooperation were touched upon in the context of the Russian-Indian summit held in December 2021 in New Delhi. It was agreed to further maintain contacts at various levels.
