Press Release, Lahore, 4th May: Qadianis are continuously flouting the Constitution of Pakistan and committing contempt of court.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Qadianis are committing contempt of court by flouting the Constitution of Pakistan, this was said by the Ameer of Tanzeem-e-Islami, Hafiz Aakif Saeed in a statement.
He noted that in 1974, the Qadianis were given the opportunity to clarify their position in the National Assembly, the then leader of the Qadianis, Mirza Nasir, had talked in detail about the Qadiani religion and cult.
However, he was unable to give adequate responses to the questions posed by the Muslim religious scholars regarding the Qadiani religion and cult, hence, the National Assembly declared them as non-Muslims, but the Qadianis unlawfully rejected the decision made by the representative assembly of the people of Pakistan.
The Ameer further added that in 1993, the Supreme Court of Pakistan gave a historic verdict in the Zaheeruddin vs the State case, directing the Qadianis to have themselves registered as a minority in the State of Pakistan, however, 27 years later till date, they have not done so and have been committing contempt of court.
The Ameer lamented that during this whole period, no government in Pakistan has taken any punitive action against the Qadiani leadership for violating the Constitution and for repeatedly committing contempt of court. This inaction on the part of several governments in Pakistan has been a major reason in making the Qadianis very bold regarding violating the constitution and the law of the state of Pakistan.
The Ameer asked that how could the Qadianis be made a member of any Minorities’ Commission in Pakistan when they themselves do not get registered as a minority? The Ameer welcomed the final decision made by the government of not including any Qadiani in the recently formed Minorities’ Commission of Pakistan.
The Ameer asserted that the government of Pakistan should keep a strict track on the activities of the Qadianis because they had historically and often proven to be involved in such activities that were detrimental to the State of Pakistan.
He added that it is an established fact that the Qadianis have deep connections with Israel and India and they never spare any opportunity of expressing enmity against Pakistan. In conclusion, he stated that the rulers and masses of Pakistan must always remain watchful and vigilant from their evil.
