According to the Qatari Foreign Ministry, an independent Palestinian state should be established alongside the capital, Jerusalem, and all Palestinian refugees should have the right to return.
The Foreign Ministry says Qatar will not shy away from any effort to give Palestinians their rights.
It should be noted that Qatar has not yet recognized Israel and has always fully supported the Palestinian struggle for independence. In recent days, the Gulf countries, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain have signed an agreement to establish diplomatic relations with Israel.
