Rains in Lahore: Roads began to look like ponds, power outages in many areas

According to the report of Baaghi TV, heavy rains in Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab, caused floods. Most parts of Lahore have lost power since last night’s torrential rains. After the rain in Lahore, there is water everywhere. Roads turned into streams. Water seeped into houses in low-lying areas. The rain that started at night in Lahore could not stop. The intermittent rain caused water to accumulate on all sides. Many cars and motorcycles broke down. Even in low-lying areas, people were harmed by water entering houses. The highest rainfall of 186 mm was recorded at Lakshmi Chowk in Lahore. Upper Mall received 141 mm of rain, Mughalpura 74 mm and Tajpura 173 mm. 123 mm rain was recorded in Nishtar Town, 120 mm in Chowk Nakhada and 141 mm in Paniwala Talab. Farrukhabad received 156 mm of rain, Gulshan-e-Ravi 155 mm, Iqbal Town 131 mm, Samanabad 153 mm, Johar Town 103 mm of rain and the airport 92.6 mm. Rain also fell in Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Kasur and Mianwali Bhakkar, causing accumulation of water in low lying areas.
