Rangers conducted search operation in jails, prohibited items recovered from prisoners

KARACHI, July 18 (Online): Pakistan Sindh Rangers conducted search operations at Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur jails, during which  prohibited items are recovered from prisoners.

According to media reports the operation was conducted in view of current threats of terrorist attacks, in Central Jail Karachi as well as Hyderabad and Sukkur.

Different wings of the Rangers took part in the operation and thoroughly searched all the barracks and cells. All the three jails were searched with the help of bomb disposal squad and trained dogs, according to a statement issued by Sindh Rangers.

During search operation different prohibited items were found which includes television, fans, fridges, air coolers, gold chains, nail cutters, which were confiscated by the paramilitary forces.

The Rangers took the decision of search operation in jails after the current terrorist attack in Karachi. The terrorist attacked the stock exchange in this incident, terrorist Suleman knew the way to enter Pakistan Stock Exchange.

CTD has disclosed during investigation that terrorist Suleman knew the way to enter the Pakistan Stock Exchange and terrorist plan failed right after the death of Suleman.
