Registration of senior citizens for corona vaccine begins in Pakistan

According to a report by Baaghi TV, registration of corona vaccine for senior citizens has started in Pakistan.

Federal Minister Asad Omar tweeted on the social networking site Twitter that citizens aged 65 and over can register for the corona vaccine. He said that for registration senior citizens need to send their ID card number to 1166. Vaccination will begin in March.

Under the government decision, health workers are being vaccinated in the first phase. According to the NCOC, 27,228 frontline health workers have been vaccinated in the country. According to statistics, most health workers were vaccinated in Sindh.

The campaign has started in Pakistan from February 3. Frontline health workers are being vaccinated first on a priority basis.

Provincial Minister Mir Muhammad Arif Muhammad Hassani launched the corona vaccine drive in Chaghi. Jawad Mengal, the focal person in the district, was vaccinated for initiation of COVID-19 inoculation.
