Lahore, 12th May: The Battle of Badr, a Battle of truth and falsehood brought many lessons for Muslims, is the topic under discussion in today’s Iftar transmission at ‘Rehmat Hee Rehmat’ on Mubasher Lucman YouTube Channel, powered by Q-Mobile.

On this occasion, senior anchorperson Mubasher Lucman said that the Battle of Badr took place on the 17th of Ramadan where the battle between truth and falsehood took place.

When the Muslims migrated from Makkah to Madinah, they were in a state of cosmopolitanism. The Makkans had seized the property, and houses of the Muslims. The Muslims were in great financial difficulties.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) established a historic brotherhood between the Muhajireen of Makkah and the Ansaar of Madinah in order to end this financial crisis so that the refugees can get out of this situation and help them.

After this agreement, a new Islamic state came into being, which was not tolerated by the infidels. Non-Muslims organized a large rally to overthrow the newborn state. The country was to go to Syria with everyone investing in it. The financial volume of this caravan was fifty thousand dinars. It was decided that all the capital earned by this caravan would be used to eradicate this newborn movement.

When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard of this caravan, he set up an army to pursue it. At Badr, the two caravans faced each other. The number of Muslims was 313 while the number of infidels was 100. The Muslims had less wealth and weapons in every way than the infidels.

In these circumstances, the commander of the army, Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) prayed to Allah Almighty, “O Allah, if these few people perished today, there would be no one to take your name.” Allah helped the Muslims and blessed them with a victory. This day is also called Furqan Day. That is the day of judgment between disbelief and falsehood.

From this day we learn many lessons. First is the lesson of tolerance, the other is to follow the right advice, and the third is to pray to Allah in difficult times.
