Rehmat Hee Rehmat: Repentance and piety are the key to success in religion

Lahore, 7th May: In today’s Iftar transmission ‘Rehmat Hee Rehmat’ the topic under discussion wasTaqwa, and Repentance during Ramadan.
Mubasher Lucman said that the more you repent in the holy month of Ramadan with Taqwa the better the chances are of forgiveness. Taqwa means avoiding major sins. There are so many Qur’anic verses in which piety is required.
In Surah Al-e-Imran, it is said, “That you should fear Allah as much as you can.” The Qur’an teaches piety in 236 verses. Its importance can also be gauged from the fact that all the prophets who came to the world commanded their ummah and nation to be pious. At one point, Allah the Exalted said to the believers, “O you who believe, be pious to Allah as it is right to be pious.”
Taqwa means to avoid things that are harmful to human beings. In common language, this means that a person should refrain from doing things that will cause him to incur the wrath of God in the Hereafter.
We should ask Allah for forgiveness for our sins and wrongdoing. God did not make humans an angel. So a man can make mistakes, and then he should repent to his God. Hazrat Adam also repented to his God and said, “Our Lord, we have wronged our souls. If you do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will be among the wrongdoers.”
Rehmat Hee Rehmat: Patience and Perseverance should be adopted in difficult times
Today’s guests in the program were doctors from YDA, Dr. Amna, and Dr. Muhammad Imran. Referring to the current epidemic, Dr. Imran said that the WHO has reported that doctors and medical staff in Pakistan are more likely to be infected with the coronavirus. They told us that our government was not testing before, but now that they have started testing. The epidemic is spreading fast.
In response to a question that the provincial health minister is not giving kits to doctors, patients are not being given treatment and the government is not being properly informed. On this, Dr. Amna said that when we put all these issues before Shah Mehmood Qureshi, he was not aware of this situation. The doctors informed us that the kits given to us are unreliable. The masks that are provided are of poor quality.
The doctors also informed that the patients that used to come previously were not so critical, but the patients who are coming now are in a very dangerous situation.
If the lockdown ends now, our health system will fail completely,” he said. Even now, beds are not available in isolation centers. What will happen when this lockdown opens is very alarming?
PPP leader Haider Zaman Qureshi said that doctors are our front line soldiers in this epidemic. When there is a war, your soldiers are encouraged. Their morale is raised while our doctors are beaten with sticks, they are pushed. Nor are they provided with basic protective equipment.
