A relief package was sent by King Salman Shah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for the people suffering in the cold of Balochistan.
According to reports, King Salman Relief has started distributing winter aid package to deserving people in the coldest areas of Balochistan province keeping in view the past traditions. The contents will be distributed in 10 districts of Balochistan while in addition to 10,000 earthquake affected families of Harnai, relief package will also be distributed in 2100 North Waziristan Internally Displaced Person (IDPs) of Bakakhel camp.
The package includes 58,000 comforters and 29,000 kits, including men’s and women’s warm shawls and warm clothing for children and adults.
This humanitarian package of King Salman will be distributed in a transparent manner with the help of NDMA, provincial government and Pakistani Non-Governmental Organization ( NGO) which will benefit more than 200,000 people in total.
It may be recalled that last year in the year 2020, Shah Salman had also come up with a relief package for the families affected by the cold in Pakistan.
A relief package has been released from Saudi Arabia for the people affected by the cold in Pakistan. Saudi King Rawa Shah Salman had sent goods to help 150,000 deserving people.
Each of the 30,000 bags in the 180-tonne relief package for deserving Pakistanis from Saudi Arabia contained two blankets, five pairs of socks, gloves and hats.
According to the relief center, the aid sent by Saudi King Rawa Shah Salman was distributed in all the provinces of Pakistan as per the instructions, which provided relief to the citizens shivering from the cold. The government thanked Saudi Arabia for its assistance during the winter season.
