Republic Day of India is a Black Day for Kashmiri Muslims
Srinagar: India’s Republic Day is a “black day for Kashmiris”, said the wife of Hurriyat leader Muhammad Yasin Malik on the occasion of India’s 73rd Republic Day. Islamabad Chairperson Peace and Culture Organization and Hurriyat Leader, Muhammad Yasin Malik’s wife, in her message regarding 26th January, said that 26th January 1950 is not the Indian Republic Day but a Black Day for Kashmiri families. She said that 75 years ago, today, Indian armed forces descended upon Srinagar illegally occupying and subjugating the people of Jammu and Kashmir in clear violation of international law and humanitarian principles. Mushaal Hussein Mullick said that since then till date Indian forces have carried out extreme atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
