Rising pollution in Lake Keenjhar poses a serious threat to human life. The mixing of industrial waste from Nooriabad and Kotri factories with water is making it toxic and should be stopped immediately. A complete ban on mineral water should be imposed in the Chief Minister, Governor House, Sindh Assembly and Secretariat to supply water from Khenjar Lake so that the rulers can realize the problem of drinking water pollution. Water sanitation should be taken care of, the budget allocated in the name of water sanitation should be protected from being wasted. An authorized body should be set up for water resource conservation in Pakistan. Water reserves should be protected from pollution.
