Lahore, 27th January: PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz has refuted the rumours about a rift within the Pakistan Democratic Party (PDM).

Baaghi TV: Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday rebutted speculations of a split within the PDM and said that the alliance had exemplary coordination.

The PML-N leader addressed the media from Khokhar brothers’ residence and said that the government’s wish to see the Opposition’s alliance fall victim to internal rifts would yield nothing.

She said, “Even if there is a disagreement on any matter within the PDM, it is resolved in an amicable manner.

The PML-N vice president also criticised Prime Minister Imran Khan, saying that her reliable sources have informed her that the premier used to personally monitor and seek updates on the operation against the Khokhar brothers.

Maryam Nawaz came to meet Khokhar brothers after the directions from her father Nawaz Sharif, to convey his message to Saiful Malook Khokhar and MNA Malik Afzal Khokhar that the party stood behind the Khokhar brothers.

The PML-N vice president maligned the ruling government and said, “A day will come when we will learn the whole truth of the government’s alleged corruption.”

Referring to the PM Khan, Maryam Nawaz said, “You should focus on yourself rather than on the PML-N.”

Maryam Nawaz lashed out at the government’s policies and termed the Broadsheet case as a ‘fraudsheet’.
