Rocket blast mars Independence Day celebration in Afghanistan

A rocket blast has hit Jalalabad, amid the 100th Independence day celebrations in Afghanistan on Monday wounding at least 66 persons.

According to reports of Baaghitv, a series of bombings has hit the Afghanistan public squares and restaurants on Monday when the country was celebrating its 100th Independence anniversary. These bombings has resulted in injuring 66 persons according to the police officials.

Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP), the affiliate of Islamic State (IS) has claimed the responsibility of this deadly attack in the recent history of Afghanistan. The Jalalabad bombs were planted near a market where hundreds of people had congregated after attending Independence Day events.
