Royal family reacts to the news of a baby girl born to Harry and Meghan

Lahore, 7th June: Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have been blessed with their second child, a baby girl on Friday at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California. The couple named the child ‘Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor’, after Britain’s Queen Elizabeth and Harry’s late mother Princess Diana. Lilibet is in fact Queen Elizabeth’s family nickname. Hence the name pays tribute to the 95-year-old British Queen after the former Duke and Duchess of Sussex faced a difficult year with the royal family. After the official announcement made by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Buckingham Palace released a statement on Sunday on behalf of the Royal family to congratulate the couple. The Royal family on the Twitter page said that the Queen, Harry’s father Prince Charles, and his brother and wife, Prince William and Kate, were delighted on the birth of a daughter to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Congratulations to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the birth of Lilibet Diana! The Queen, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the news.
